Body positivity is a hot topic. We’re living in a world where the use of Instagram filters and Photoshop have distorted our view of what ‘normal’ looks like.
This idealised presentation of the human form has resulted in negative body image, lack of confidence and those feelings of inadequacy when we are faced with our own image as presented to us by the camera.
Renata Cesar is interested in how everyone – no matter who they are – can look and feel better being photographed purely by learning how to ‘work the camera.’ She’s aiming to spread body positivity through sharing her knowledge of photography and the techniques of posing models.
